Chris Williams - GM Technology
Chris Williams leads Digital Island's technology function, overseeing IT operations, engineering and the service delivery frameworks that underpin client outcomes.
He brings more than two decades of leadership across telecommunications, financial services technology, SaaS and managed services - including 12 years at global fintech Fiserv, where he led cross-functional, international teams of more than 100 across New Zealand, Costa Rica, India and the United States.
Earlier roles at Vodafone NZ, Pyrios and Cin7, alongside formative international experience with Global Crossing and Roland Berger in London, have shaped a deeply well-rounded operational grounding, built on genuinely diverse global environments.
Since joining Digital Island in July 2022, Chris has led the technology and people workstream through the integration of Circle Consulting into the business and the operational separation from Spark New Zealand, creating a standalone Technology function that better reflects where the business is headed.
